This workshop is part of our Team Chartering program. It can also be taken stand-alone.

You're spending a huge number of hours working together. You have big dreams for the product, the company, and the project ... but there's something missing. A lack of team cohesion and trust is causing daily friction, miscommunication and speed bumps.

Teams that play together, stay together and yet many teams end up playing in ways that have no connection to their working experience. Rather than a team outing to fire paintballs at each other or play drinking games, we recommend team cohesion workshop.

This session is carefully designed to bring your team closer together by revelling in the shared joy of their common purpose, values and humanity.

Through a series of creative games, engaging activities and structured conversations, you will...

  • Create time and space for the team to come together without the pressure of an 'enforced fun activity'.
  • Spend time getting to know your teammates as people.
  • Experience what it's like to open up and be more vulnerable in a safe environment.
  • Discuss some of your team experiences and feelings that result from working together.
  • Heighten visibility of (and empathy for) each other's challenges.
  • Discuss your organization's cultural values and explore ways to live those values in challenging times.
  • Develop greater shared strength and resiliency.

As a result, your team will feel more strongly connected to each other and more mutually supported.

This session is highly customized to the needs of your unique team in your unique culture.

The workshop is a good reminder that we have a great team and the opportunity to work together to do something meaningful. I liked that it made people move outside their comfort zone. Great team building time, an opportunity interact with colleagues that we don't normally get to interact with. Overall, nicely balanced.

I loved all the activities in this workshop. It was a great learning experience, really fun, energizing, thought provoking and comforting. Highly recommended for large distributed teams.

At the outset I thought the experience was similar to past team building I've been involved in, but through the warmth and prodding of the PeopleStorming team and my team's decision to just jump in feet first, it was a very fulfilling experience that has seemed to help our team in a short amount of time. We already feel more communicative and less passive in our interactions.

I liked all the exercises. They all served a purpose. I also loved the opportunity to have thoughtfully guided conversations with fellow team members who I've not previously met. You made the introductions and sharing feel natural and welcomed.

In addition to offering dedicated workshops and programs for teams, we hold regular sessions that are open to individuals.

If you'd be interested in participating as an individual, let us know...

A team is not a group of people who work together. A team is a group of people who trust each other.
