Design Thinking is a collection of processes, methods and tools for creating human-centered products, services, solutions, and experiences. At its heart is a deep connection to the person who'll be experiencing the end product.

Successful Design Thinking relies on some fundamental requirements...

  • You have to encourage divergent thinking.
  • You have to be okay taking a less direct route to a solution.
  • You have to get comfortable with experimenting, playing, and failing.

These requirements can be very challenging for individuals and teams, which is why we created this workshop.

In this workshop, you will...

  • Learn how to derive value from design thinking and an experimental mindset.
  • Learn tools for deeply understanding different customers and increasing customer empathy.
  • Receive a grounding in common types of mapping
  • Practice creating a simple Customer Journey Map.
  • Learn about the concepts of Blueprinting and Atomization.

In the extended session, you will also...

  • Play with some simple prototyping techniques.
  • Explore the relationship between failure and rapid learning.

It was nice to start by sharing about yourself to someone new and then dive into the challenge and solutions once we felt like we were all better connected.

It was interactive, collaborative and constructive. And it was fun and not boring like a lot of these types of workshops can be!

We have specific and realistic ideas that we can begin to implement immediately. Thank you!

A workshop to help you think from a customers viewpoint. Helps with flow, empathy, ideas, etc to put yourself in a user's shoes and find a solution, not what you think the solution is. I liked this session because it was interactive, kept moving and the hours flew by, very good! I particularly enjoyed the problem solving.

I liked this session because going through the actual exercise of design thinking helps me apply it more easily to our current processes. I'd describe the workshop as really helpful in understanding an abstract concept.
